Privacy Policy
Last updated: June 11, 2026
The short version
We never store your photos or videos. We never access your Google account. We don't sell your data or use third-party advertising trackers. The details below explain exactly what we do collect and why.
Your photos and videos
Gallumédoes not store, copy, or proxy your media. Your photos and videos stay in your Google Drive. When a visitor opens a gallery, the images load directly from Google's servers to their browser — they never pass through ours. We only read public folders you choose to connect, using a public Google API key. We never request access to your Google account and cannot see your private files.
Information we collect
When you create an account and galleries, we store:
- Your email address.
- Your password, stored only as a secure one-way hash (we never see the plaintext).
- Gallery settings: a title, a link to your Google Drive folder, optional photographer name and social links, and any gallery password (also stored only as a hash).
- Basic usage events (for example, that a gallery was viewed) so you and we can see whether galleries are working. These are first-party only.
We may briefly process visitor IP addresses to prevent abuse and rate-limit our preview tool. We do not build advertising profiles.
Cookies
We use a small number of strictly necessary cookies to keep you logged in and to remember that a visitor has unlocked a password-protected gallery. We do not use third-party advertising or tracking cookies.
Payments
Paid subscriptions are processed by Stripe. We never receive or store your full card details — Stripe handles payment information directly under its own privacy policy.
Service providers we rely on
- Google (Drive API and image delivery)
- Stripe (payment processing)
- Our hosting and database providers, used to run the service
These providers process data only as needed to operate Gallumé.
Data retention and deletion
We keep your account and gallery data until you delete it or ask us to. You can delete galleries at any time from your dashboard. To delete your account and associated data, email us at help@gallume.com.
Your rights
You can request a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. Contact us at the email above and we'll respond as required by applicable law.
Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. We'll change the date at the top when we do. Continued use of Gallumé after a change means you accept the updated policy.
